I thought of that too -- because in fact I often buy groceries two or more days in a row. I find if I buy too much at a time, I forget about stuff and it goes bad in the back of the fridge. So I usually only buy what I'm going to eat for the day.

Yes, I go to the large market once a week. We have small stands, however, where it is acceptable to purchase nappies and other items on other days. It is not unheard of for people in my town to buy perishables every few days.
