2/13 strip: Roxanne's a VAMPIRE?!

This could explain everything!
1. The crankiness: If I were a vampire trying to be a vegetarian, I'd be mean too.

2. She won't let Lemont take Lionel anywhere: Lemont doesn't know how to take care of a half-vampire kid. He might accidentally kill the kid or the kid might kill some stranger.


The amazing thing is, in one strip, you took a character I absolutely hated and made her my favorite.

If it's true it doesn't say much for Roxanne if being a soulless bloodsucker makes her more likeable. However, this might help Darrin work on his John Edwards issues a little more.

We all want better for Lemont. I think Darrin enjoys stretching out the Roxanne story line just to torment us.

After that development, I kind of like that it's been stretched out this much. I thought she was just a run of the mill mean-hearted harpy; I didn't see this coming. Does this mean Edwards is a vampire too? Is the vegetarianism all a pretense?

And what about John Edwards? I mean, I've heard him referred to as a "blood sucker" before, but is he also a vampire? Might explain his youthful appearance.
