While I do prefer that people visit the site, I don't want to send out broken images. It's not supposed to happen. But somewhere in my Wordpress installation or my Comicpress theme, there's a line of code that hasn't been rerouted through the corr...
Well, my thought was why bother putting what appears to be an attempt at an image there? The link is already in the title.
I have subscribed by email to several strips in the past, and still do for some. All of them include the image of the strip...
Well, of course it takes us to the page rather than the image. How else can the cartoonist get pageviews that translate into ad revenue?
If the image showed up in the email, I'd never visit the site. I see it as a daily reminder.
I've been subscribed to the email version of the strip for awhile now. I have never seen the strip display in the email, instead there is a spot where a broken image icon appears, and if I click on that I get taken to the daily strip.
